JTCC is the Host of Jacksonville’s Team
JTCC is proud to host Jacksonville's tennis team, with Claudio Pistolesi’s expert leadership and Martin Gutierrez's on-court charisma. The team is set to inspire fans and players alike throughout the season, promising action, camaraderie, and a strong sense of community spirit.

The Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC) is proud to be the host of Jacksonville’s team. Renowned for its world-class training programs and commitment to fostering tennis excellence, JTCC has established itself as a premier destination for developing elite players and driving forward-thinking approaches to the sport.
At the forefront of this endeavor is Claudio Pistolesi, a tennis icon with deep roots in the sport as both a player and a coach. Born in Italy, Pistolesi was a two-time Grand Slam junior semifinalist and Orange Bowl champion, earning the title of World #1 ITF Junior Champion. During his professional playing career, he achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of #71, earned victories over top-10 players, and proudly represented Italy in the Davis Cup for six consecutive years, winning the Italian national championship in 1990.
As a coach, Pistolesi has worked with some of the sport's top names, including Monica Seles, Robin Söderling, and Daniela Hantuchová, guiding multiple players to top 50 and top 100 rankings and coaching them to over 10 tour titles. His leadership roles extend beyond coaching, having served as captain for Italy at the Mediterranean Games, Italy and Japan at the Hopman Cup, and as an Olympic coach for Team Slovakia in 2012. Now leading the Florida JTCC program and Claudio Pistolesi Enterprise, he continues to inspire the tennis world with his expertise and vision.

One of the team captains will be Martin Gutierrez, also known as "The Forehand Guy." Born in Colombia, Martin moved to Jacksonville, FL, with his family, where he grew up and developed his love for tennis. His illustrious college career at Barry University includes four NCAA Championship titles and three ITA All-American honors. Beyond his competitive success, Martin has cultivated a thriving community of over 20,000 tennis enthusiasts on Instagram through his account, @TheForehandGuy, where he shares tips to help players build more confident forehands. A fierce competitor on the court, Martin is equally passionate about spending time with friends, working out, and perfecting his grilling skills.
