Pascal Collard Joins INTENNSE Advisory Board and Takes Helm as Team Tampa Coach
Pascal Collard joins INTENNSE’s Advisory Board, bringing his extensive expertise in tennis coaching and sports management to help shape our fan-driven approach as we redefine tennis.
INTENNSE proudly welcomes Pascal Collard as the newest member of its Advisory Board and Head Coach of Team Tampa. With an extensive career in tennis, spanning coaching, sports management, and leadership roles at some of the most prestigious institutions, Pascal's expertise will be instrumental in helping INTENNSE continue its mission to redefine tennis for a new generation.
Originally from Belgium, Pascal has served as Director of Tennis across Europe, led programs at Saddlebrook Tennis Academy, and contributed to player development at Philadelphia’s esteemed Merion Cricket Club. He is also CEO of Mouratoglou Zephyr Hills, where he made significant contributions to shaping the global tennis landscape.
Reflecting on how he began his tennis journey, Pascal shared, "I was a swimmer but developed an allergy that prevented me from continuing. My father played tennis, so I gave it a try—and that’s where my passion began."
He is enthusiastic about INTENNSE, recognizing its innovative approach to the sport: "We need something new and exciting in tennis. It’s the community version of the UTS and the new version of the WTT—quick, fun, and easy to learn. It’s exactly what the younger generation wants."
Pascal sees INTENNSE as an ideal platform for dynamic players. "Bublik or Monfils would thrive in this format," he suggested. "From past generations, Marcelo Rios or Kyrgios would be ideal."
As both coach and advisor, Pascal is set to lead Team Tampa with the passion and expertise that have defined his remarkable career. His dual role reflects INTENNSE's commitment to innovation and leadership both on and off the court.
