Two Days to Go: Georgia Tech vs. UGA - INTENNSE Roster

The stage is set for the ultimate rivalry! In just two days, the courts at Georgia Tech will come alive as current stars, legends, and alumni from both schools clash. Doors open at 11:00 am, so bring the family, watch the kids play on the Wilson red ball court, test your skills on the Wilson demo court, and see how many targets you can hit on the interactive serving wall.

Let the Showdown Begin!

1:00 pm marks the beginning of the main event as the current Tech roster splits into two teams of three men and three women each, preparing for INTENNSE-style competition. Making their debut, we have Nate Bonetto, Chris Clement, Richard Biagiotti, Rohan Sachdev, Krish Arora, and Robert Bauer representing the men, while Alejandra Cruz, Kate Sharabura, Kylie Bilchev, Given Roach, Meera Jesudason, and Ginger Foster take the court for the women.

At 1:45 pm, UGA Asura will warm us up for the INTENNSE Junior Mixed Showcase.

Legends Take the Court

At 2:30 pm, it’s time for the legends to step up! Who will prevail? Will it be Team GT led by Matt Cozad, featuring Marko Rajevac, Scott Schnugg, Christy Lynch, and Amy Thomas Dozier? Or Team UGA led by Stephen Enochs, with Allen Miller, Javi Garripez, Shannon McCarthy, and Lori Grey Guggio? They’ll face off in men's doubles and mixed doubles matches, promising an epic showdown!

At 3:15 pm, GT Jadoo will bring the energy with a dynamic dance performance, followed by a 3:30 pm Time Ball warm-up for the next set of tennis battles.

The Alumni Showdown

As the intensity builds, 3:45 pm marks the start of the Alumni Showcase, where past stars return to the court. First up is the women’s battle, featuring GT alumni Ruth Marsh, Vicky Flores, and Rasheeda McAdoo as they defend their school’s colors against UGA alumni Meg Kowalski (Captain), Morgan Coppoc, and Lauren Herring Cole. These talented players will bring their experience and competitive spirit, setting the stage for an exciting match.

Then, at 4:15 pm, it’s time for the men to take the stage. The excitement continues with GT alumni Keshav Chopra (Captain), Brandon Freestone, and Elijah Melendez ready to face off against UGA alumni Billy Rowe, Nathan Pasha, and Hernus Pieters. With both men’s and women’s alumni matches, the atmosphere is electric as they compete for bragging rights. Who will emerge victorious in this ongoing rivalry?

The Grand Finale

Finally, the day wraps up with a thrilling mixed doubles showdown, bringing together the best of both teams for one last, unforgettable match. But the action doesn’t end there! As the final matches conclude, the event will feature performances by local dance teams at 6:00 pm, adding rhythm and excitement to the celebration.
